Horseshoe Cafe, Southport, CT

I have been enjoying my past few Monday evenings at the Shoe listening to inspired performances of Fairfield County's brightest and coolest musicians and songwriters. They are one of, if not the longest running and most supportive open mic's in the state. The master of ceremonies is a very good man, Bradley Clark, who does a great job of keeping the evening rolling along. Brad is a great bass player, touring and session man that is a part of the rapidly growing North County Band. This past week I made it on the list for an opportunity to play a few songs for the good folks.

The place reminds me a lot of  Cheers! It has an ole school charm, good food, libations, oh yeh and live music!       In the middle of a mad surburbia, there's still a place where everyone knows your name.

It does pack'em in on a good night so come early if ya can!
